To obtain the bread buy the recipe (required cooking level 1) from Chapman. You will now be required to create Bread of the Dead. Once you are there you must buy an Orange Marigold (consumed on use, cost 10 copper), or the Bouquet of Orange Marigolds (not consumed on use, 1 gold) - 30 second buff timer, 30 second cooldown - from Chapman, use it at the graveyard and accept the quest from the NPC with the quest, that shows up (you can now see NPCs as the item provides the player with lesser invisibility). To complete the quest The Grateful Dead and earn the Macabre Marionette you must be in your respective main city's graveyard (Dranei = Exodar, Dwarf = Ironforge, Gnome = Ironforge, Human = Stormwind, Night elf = Darnassus, Worgen = Darnassus Blood elf = Silvermoon, Undead = Undercity, Orc = Orgrimmar, Tauren = Thunderbluff, Troll = Orgrimmar, Goblin = Orgrimmar). Introduction to the Event & What You Can Receive:ĭuring this event we are celebrating the dead that have died for us and is based on the Spanish holiday celebrated in Mexico.Īnyway, the holiday is only 2 days long, starting on the 1st of November at 01:00 Game Time until the end of the following day (23:59 2nd of November).Īs this event is only spanned over just under two days it means that there is very much less to do than a normal event and will not count towards What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been as it is such a minor event but will award you with the Dead Man's Party achievement, some perishable items (will not remain in your bags after the event has ended), as well as a perishable cooking recipe (Recipe: Bread of the Dead) (the bread made from the cooking recipe requires the event to be active to be made as it specifies but also because the fires required to make are only active during the event), and some off-hand flowers (unusable in transmog due to no stats). ![]()
